More about the coffee
Tasting notes
Lively zestiness, VERY juicy. Sweet peach aroma, with a nectarous sweetness that prickles your nose.
Variety: Pink Bourbon
Legend has it that the Pink Bourbon variety is a hybrid of red and yellow bourbon. However, this rare and highly sought-after varietal from Villa Betulia, known for its complex aromatic profile, has been researched and traced to the Ethiopian Landrace.

Process: Natural - bag fermentation
Only fully ripe coffee cherries were picked to maximise sweetness and uniformity, before undergoing a carefully controlled 72-hour aerobic fermentation (oxidation) The cherries are then slowly and evenly dried for around 20 days on raised African beds, preserving delicate aromas and ensuring a clean, vibrant cup.
The farm: Villa Betulia
Leading Villa Betulia is Luis Anibal Calderón, who is onsidered one of the most innovative coffee farmers in the municipality of Acevedo, in Huila, Colombia. His passion for specialty coffee and his knowledge of microclimate, soil composition, and coffee varieties have earned him international recognition.
Luis Anibal believes in quality over quantity. While lower in yields, his dedication to high-quality varieties and experimental processes resulted in coffees with clarity of structure, natural sweetness and complex aromas.
