More about the farm:
When producer Josiani Moraes da Silva purchased Fazenda Santa Cruz in 1992, the land was devoted to citrus groves. In 1998, national overproduction of oranges led to rock-bottom prices and da Silva decided to transition the farm to coffee production.
From the beginning, da Silva set out to produce high quality coffee. He spared no cost on his coffee processing infrastructure and placed a premium on treating and training his employees.
Da Silva is driven by a focus on high quality product that exceed expectations. The on-farm “Coffee House,” a tasting room where employees use SCAA methods to track coffee quality, separate lots by quality and match clients with their ideal coffee.
